How can you add to the Memory Bank?

The Scottish Borders Memory Bank only collects and stores digital material. To ensure the best compromise between quality and transferability, please follow the data capture standards listed below:

PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES

Format: The files should be converted to a resolution of 72 dpi, and saved as JPEG format. (*.jpg / *.jpeg)

Size: Image files should be reduced proportionately so that they can fit inside a square of 250 pixels x 250 pixels. (an example image of 180 pixels x 250 pixels would be fine)

An image size of 13 K is ideal though no larger than 16K please.

MOVING IMAGES, TEXT, SOUND FILES

First transfer your contribution to a digital file following the data capture standards listed above.  Then move to the "Add to the Memory Bank" and follow the instructions on the submissions form.
